Pride of Place
Last Thursday saw the return of the Judges for the Pride of Place competition. Most of the local clubs were out showing and explaining all about their importance within the parish. Fingers crossed and thanks to all involved, Best of Luck.

Philip Moran Memorial Tractor Run
This event was held on the Saturday before Vintage Day, there was a record number of tractors turned out to show their support.
Everything went of very well under the watchful eyes of the Honda 50 club from Castlepollard. A very big THANKS to all who helped run the event and to all who supported the tractors along their 25 mile run. All monies raised goes to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Streete Vintage Show
Well another year over and dispite the bad weather before the weekend the pitch and the parking field (Thanks to John O Brian) were in great condition and the Shw was able to go on. The crowd held up well but with the Mullingar show being off there was lots of new faces walking around. It was without a doubt one of the best shows yet, there was lots of stawls selling everything and anything you could look for, there was a great showing of both vintage tractors and cars. The dog show was one of the biggest yet and there were some fine animals on show. The Cock a doddle POO was a great success with it selling out and then the Roster was let out and within one minuts had produced what it took to give a clear winner of € 200. The NARGC had their shooting simulator out and this was the new toy for big boys on the day. This was a wonderful success again this year and we would like to say  A HUGE THANKS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED, without you this event would not be a runner at all.
