Great to see a good turnout at bingo last night. Even though I saw one person sit and wait on only one number for 5 or 6 calls the Jackpot still managed to hold on for another week. Next weeks is now well over € 14,000. Would'nt that be a lovely win for the June Bank Holiday weekend. St Fintans

Frank Moynihan will be doing a cookery Demonstration Fundraiser for Boherquill Church tomorrow night May 23rd in the Parish Park.
Tickets are availible on the door (Cost is only € 10). Please do support this event and help get the costs of the Church down. Fr Joe has asked that if ANYONE has any old letters, forms, papers, PHOTOS or anything that may be of interest from the past that has anything to do with the histroy of the parish could you please contact him or bring along next week to mass and while mass is going on someone will scan these itams onto a computer and return them to you after mass. They hope to have a very good histroy of the parish put together in book form by the winter.
This will be a great treasure to have so please do pass the word around. I had the pleasure to travel to Germany last week and made my way down to the Beautiful Mozel region where I was guided around the wineries there. I have to say that the wines on offer from this area were just amazing. If anyone would like to experience some of these wines just give me a shout.
For those who have been asking if there will be any wine evenings happening this year, the answer is Yes we are looking into the possibility of a 4 week wine course happening after September, watch this space for more details. Cheers
