There was No Winner this week. Bingo
It was great to see a good turn out for Bingo again this week. As there was a lot of extra monies paid out with extra cheques the Jackpot lives for another week. Next weeks Jackpot will be € 13,000. Someone is going to go home very happy from Bingo some Monday night. Bowls
This Tuesday night will provide the best showdown in the league.
Streete A will play Tyrrellspass A, both teams fighting to take the top spot of the leader board. But the real excitment will be the showdown between Streete B and Streete C, forget sitting and watching the TV, head down to the Parish park and you will have a great nights viewing. This Thursday Evening there will be a meeting @ 7.30pm in the Parish Park to discuss Streete submitting an application to form our own Ceoltas. The Chairman from Westmeath Ceoltas and some other well know musicians in attendance. Please do come along and support as it would be great for the community to get this up and running. Vintage Club

Bset Wishes to Fr Joe who is currently in hospital. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to hearing his voice back doing mass in the near future. Walkway
Plans for the new walkway around the Parish Park are currently being drawn up. Funding for new Walk Way
In Order to avail of funding for the proposed walkway the commette have to raise a percentage of the cost. A raffle for this purpose will take place at Bingo on Easter Monday night.
Tickets will be on sale from the end of this week. PLEASE do support. Cost will be € 2 per ticket or a book of 3 for € 5.
Prizes range from € 500, to weekends away to meals and vouchers. Shave or Dye
This very worthwhile event in aid of Cancer research is taking place in Murphy's The Crossroads Inn Lisryan on Friday 30th of March. I have not heard as of yet who is putting their head forward but Im sure that without a doubth if will prove to be a very good nights enteriments. If you wish to step up to the mark for this Charity please feel free to contact Pauline in the Crossroads Inn. Time for me to head off and relax with a nice cool glass of Riesling. There is nothing as refreshing as that. Cheers !!!
