The club are hosting a seminar for coaches, senior(Male and Female) and minor players on Saturday 7th of February. The seminar will take place from 11am to 1pm and a light lunch will be provided. Dr Gavin Breslin, Senior Lecturer in Sport & Exercise Psychology at University of Ulster, Ulster Sports Academy and a British Psychological Society Chartered Sports and Exercise Psychologist will give a presentation on the following:
1)Motivation and Goal Setting
2)Resilience and Mental Toughness
3)The Importance of Deliberate Practice
It is important that we start our season with a strong sense of what we want to achieve as a club and an understanding of the various factors that we need to internalise in order to be successful.. I would encourage as many people as possible to attend the seminar and learn new skills that will benefit us all.
