Mini mixed GAA League for 8-13yr olds The club will be running a mixed mini league for boys & girls aged 8-13 years old during the winter every Wednesday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. It will start this Wednesday. It is strictly for players born in or before 2004. New players are welcome to join for the standard membership fee.
Celebrate the Newtown Blues GFC 125th Anniversary with us and include this event as part of your Marathon preparations. The Newtown Run 12.5k takes place on Sat 15th Sept @ 2pm. The Course has been officially measured and the event is approved by the Athletics Association of Ireland. The run will be chip timed and there will be various prizes on offer. Registration is E15 on-line which is available until Wed 12th Sept incl. or E20 thereafter at the Club grounds until the morning of the run.
As a way of recognising our 125th Anniversary and the value we have in our members we are pleased to announce that the Newtown Blues Club will be offering a Sports Scholarship to one of our lucky members. We understand the value of sport and education in our community and want to help the successful applicant with their future plans.
