Sport Scholarship Announcement:
As a way of recognising our 125th Anniversary and the value we have in our members we are pleased to announce that the Newtown Blues Club will be offering a Sports Scholarship to one of our lucky members. We understand the value of sport and education in our community and want to help the successful applicant with their future plans. Application forms can be downloaded by going to https://sites.google.com/site/newtownbluesie/constitution-downloads-and-links and must be submitted on or before 14th Sept. 2012. Lucozade Sport bottle Cap Appeal
We are collecting our Lucozade sport bottle caps to enter a competition to potentially win up to 10,000 for the club. So get collecting wherever you can from now until 31st Aug. There will also be a prize given to the Blues member that collects the most bottle caps. Please drop off all caps by Sun. 2nd Sept. at the latest to the clubhouse.
Clothing Recycling collection:
We hope to raise enough funds to buy some more goals for the juvenile teams. Your support is greatly appreciated. Acceptable clothing- dry and clean clothing, men , women and children ,Curtains, bedding, paired shoes, belts, handbags, underwear , blankets. Clothing Recycling appeal ends this week
