We wish our Minor Boys and U16 Boys all the best in their championship matches. Our Minor boys are in the championship final for the third year in a row having retained the title for the last 2 years. Will they make it three? We need you all to get behind both these teams over the coming weeks and give them all your support. Our Minor girls are busy getting ready for their championship run. They start on Sun. 9th Oct. against St. Mary’s @11am AWAY in Ardee. On behalf of the club we would like to say thanks to all our underage and adult players that are finished up for the season. It was a great year with plenty of fantastic memories. And a speacial GO RAIBH MAITH AGAIBH to all the coaches, committee members & helpers that give so much of their free time to keep the club going all year. We presented our underage players with their end of sesaon medals on Saturday morning and 2 players in the U12 Boys team got a special award for their efforts this year. U12 Player of the Year went to Joe Harte and Most Improved Player of the Year was awarded to Ciaran Johnson. Well done lads and to all our wonderful players. Remember we have things over the winter to keep those underage players busy!! Wed. Night All Weather Astro Session (on pitches behind the gym in St. Joes CBS) from 6-6.45pm for all boy & girls 7-9yrs and 6.45-7.30pm for all boys & girls 10-13yrs. Cost €3 per person. Thurs. Nights Basketball session from 29th Sept. (for 4 weeks) Our clubs has been lucky enough to secure a spot on the' Jump Together ' program with Basketball Ireland. This is where we encourage the Gaelic /basketball crossover. We have been allocated a basketball coach for 4 weeks. We want to see ALL u9-u11 boys & girls take part. It starts next Thurs. 29th Sept. 6-7pm St Joseph's CBS gym bring gumshield, runners and €2 to learn some skills that will help you on the pitch.
