Hard luck to the U16s boys who lost their League Semi Final on Sat. in Togher. The lads came from 8points down to be within a point but unfortunately finished up short by 2 points at the final whistle. Let's get ready for the championship final!
The U12 Boys played a great match against Mattock Rangers in Darver in their League Final but unfortunately didn't come out on top. The team never gave up hope until the final whistle but it wasn't our day. Well done to the team and management on a great year. Thanks to all the mentors for all their hard work.
AllIreland Ticket Draw
We had Niall Ronan select the winner from all the entries. Well done to Stephen Nugent who won the All Ireland Final tickets. There was great interest and support for the draw. Thanks to all that bought a ticket.
We had a great turnout for our Health & Nutrition workshop with Niall Ronan for our underage players. Niall gave the group some great tips on eating healthy to ensure we maximise our potential.
Our clubs has been lucky enough to secure a spot on the' Jump Together ' program with Basketball Ireland. This is where we encourage the Gaelic /basketball crossover. We have been allocated a basketball coach for 4 weeks. We want to see ALL u9-u11 boys & girls take part. It starts next Thurs. 22 Sept. 6-7pm St Joseph's CBS gym bring gumshield, runners and €2 to learn some skills that will help you on the pitch.
Well the season is starting to come to a close on the pitch for our underage teams but we have a great off season planned for all U7's-U13.
Join us each Wed. in St. Joes Secondary Astro pitches for some Peile games.
Every WEDNESDAY
6-6.45pm for all boys & girls aged 7-9yrs
6.45-7.30pm for all boys & girls aged 10-13yrs. (U12 boys exempt this week as have league final on Sat!)
Bring energy, gum shield, runners and €3 for some fun.
We have our last Sat. morning session on the 24th Sept. with medals for all nursery - U12 teams and a chance to say a big GO RAIBH MILE AGAIBH to all our volunteers that give so much of their free time to keep our club going.
