March 10-2pm Cost. €15 per child Prebooking required Do we have any creative minds out there? The club would like to enter MindRising 2016(www.mindrising.ie)- a competition celebrating 200 years of the island of Ireland. MindRising is about telling stories about our past and our future. Teams will work on their digital storytelling skills across a range of media which includes building elements of their projects in Minecraft. They are encouraged to remember the past 100 years and imagine what the next 100 years could bring. It is aimed at boys and girls under 14. We would like a group of children to take on the project of building a Minecraft a version of our clubhouse in 50/100 years.
What we need:
1. A guardian (over 18yrs) to work with the group between now and 18th April. (it would be a great piece of work for any young club member or parent that is interested in technology.)
2. Project members- Boys & Girls U14yrs- there are many parts to the project from making a video, a digital scrapbook and designing our clubhouse in Minecraft. If you feel you would like to be involved please contact Shane Nugent (086 653 6999) before 4th March. And we could win a prize for the club!
