Well done to Louth Ladies U16 team on winning their Leinster Championship Semi-final Louth saved a penalty in the dying seconds, leaving Louth winning 5-09 to 2-17. Eva Cummins had a super game covering every blade of grass. Final V Wexford Sun. 24th May.
Hard luck to the Louth Minors that lost their battle to Meath. Final score Louth 0-11 Meath 0-12. Well done to Kevin Carr, Ciaran Downey & Ross Nally that worked hard and represented the club and county with pride. And the luck wasn't on our side in Round 1 of the Leinster Senior Championship seeing us fall short against Westmeath.
Comhghairdeas do gach duine - we received an award & €250 from Glór Na NGael& GAA as part of the Turas Teanga for our efforts promoting our cúpla focal and our participation each year in Seachtain na Gaeilge events. Bígí ag caint!
Comhghairdeas do Emma Thompson who was awarded U18 Ladies Player of the Year 2015 in St. Olivers. Emma is a fantastic footballer and key part of the Ladies Senior team and represents the club on the County Minor panel and already has Louth Senior Club Championship medal from 2014. Maith thú Emma!
