Nothing happening on the field of play this week-end. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday week-end. Some fixtures for the coming week. Wednesday night minor footballers play St. Brigids in the Bogie's. At 7oc. on Saturday night the senior hurlers play Ballyboden/St. Endas in the senior "B" championship in the Bogie's at 6 30. Sunday morning our junior hurlers play O'Tooles in the championship at 10.15am. Before this game a small ceremony will be held during which the ashes of the late Derek O Brien who hurled with our juniors will be scattered in the Bogie's followed by a minutes silence in Derek's honour. All are welcome to attend. On Sunday afternoon our u/12 footballers will play at half time of the final between Dublin and Derry in Croke park . This is a great experience for our young players and I hope they have a great day. Executive meeting on Thursday next 8oc. Juvenile meeting on Tuesday night 9oc.
