Our senior hurlers had a very good win over Whitehall/Colmcille in the league. They have now progressed to the play offs for promotion to the A league. Well done to all concerned! Our junior hurlers also advanced to the play offs in their league with a win over Clontarf. This was a hard fought game with the "Barrs" reduced to fourteen men after an early sending off. They battled all the way and trailed by two points at half time. Our centre field and forwards upped their game in the second half and with the backs playing very well (especially our "homeless" full back Keith) we held out to take the points . Our minor footballers reached the final of the championship with an impressive win over Skerrie's. This was a game where the lads were always in control and they played some lovely football. We can all look forward to the final and wish the mentors and lads all the best. Our under 16 footballers also had a good win over Brigid's in the semi-final of the league and now progress to play Craobh Chiaráin in the final. This game was played under dreadful conditions and both teams have to be congratulated on the football they played. It was a very entertaining game both teams contesting every ball right to the end.
