Senior Football Championship
Unfortunately our Senior Men were unsuccessful yesterday evening against Clonduff, in the second round of the Championship, keeping pace until the last 15 minutes. They next take on Castlewellan on Sunday 10th September.
Good contenders for the win, and a local location, the team would appreciate your support.

Our Senior Ladies played their first Championship match at the weekend against Ballymartin in PTR. A successful results means they now meet Kilcoo on the 16th September.

This Saturday the Club is holding a Breakfast Morning from 10am - 12.30pm - come along and get your breakfast bap and tea/coffee.
Fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association
We're very proud of our volunteers, members and supporters for all the effort and support they provided on Saturday for this fundraising event. There was an incredible turnout - go raibh maith agaibh gach daoine!
A message from the O'Hare family:
We are happy to announce that we have raised more money than ever imaginable!
So far an outstanding £11,500 was raised over the weekend at the RGU MNDA coffee morning.
Claire is totally overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness and generosity for coming and donating to the
MND Association. It is such a testament to the entire community.This money will be used by the MNDA for important care and research for others diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
All leftover bakes were gratefully accepted by Downpatrick Foodbank in care of McCartans, Simon Community Saul Street, Lecale Lodge, Downe Hospital Ward 1 & 2 and Newcastle Foodbank.
