Down Ladies are now one game away from winning an All Ireland Junior Championship and with it, promotion back to Intermediate football, following their tough win over Carlow, last Sunday week at Parnell Park, Dublin. Their opponents on the All Ireland final day will be Limerick. RGU wish our three Down players, Orla, Paige and Neva, all the best for the final. See social media for ticketing arrangements. The Senior men’s game away to Ballyholland, after winning the last four league games was a disappointing defeat. The final score was Ballyholland 3:10 RGU 0:10. Next up this Friday is a home game to Saval, which is the penultimate fixture in the league, prior to the commencement of the Morgan Fuel SFC against Saul, on Thursday 24th August in Darragh Cross, throw for that game is at 7:15pm. Our Senior Ladies suffered an away defeat to Carryduff on Monday night last. Final Result Carryduff 9:5 RGU 6:9. Bonkers Bingo is on Saturday 19th August, all welcome, Ticket price £10 and with tickets available on Klubfunder. Various prizes , with 1st prize an overnight stay for two in an executive room, with full Irish Breakfast, at the luxurious Grand Central, Belfast. Our lotto Jackpot is now £4900.
