SENIOR FOOTBALL
An excellent result for the Seniors on Friday night against Burren at Páirc Tomás Rusíel.
The team went in a point up at half time but Burren quickly hit back in the second half, and went three points up. A determined last 10 minutes saw the RGU come back strong with a late goal reversing the score board to put them three points up. Burren kicked two late points to keep the pressure on, but it was a well deserved win for the Hoops in the end.
Final Score: 3.08 to 1.13
Next up, an away match to Loughinisland next Friday.
BREAKFAST MORNING
There was a fabulous turnout on Saturday morning for the RGU Breakfast Morning, which took place during the Go Games, and a lovely community spirit to add to it.

VOLUNTEERS WEEK
Last week was National Volunteers Week.
We'd like to thank all our volunteers, past and present - we wouldn't be who we are today without your time, effort and support.
It's worth remembering that our club and its success is built on the enthusiasm and efforts of volunteers; from groundkeepers, lotto enthusiasts, coaches/mentors to our various committee members and not forgetting all our players, volunteering their time to playing and encouraging in various shapes and forms.
