A big turnout on Friday night for the 'Thank GAA it’s Friday' program supported by the PCSP. Great to see so many new and familiar faces getting involved. We now have two more Friday nights before we take a break. Thanks to the RGU Senior Lady's management and some of the Senior Ladies for bringing down the Intermediate Championship trophy. Many of our young girls and boys will now looking up to the Senior team they will be cheering them on in the Ulsters
As our Senior Ladies prepare to commence their Ulster campaign on Saturday we look back to 2016 and their last Ulster home match. Having lifted the Down Intermediate title earlier in the month, beating Burren in the final, the girls took on Cavan champions St Finbarrs in the Ulster 1st Rd at Páirc Tomás Ruséil. An exciting match which went to extra time before the Hoops finally prevailed. A few familiar faces still playing in 2021 with a host of new young players who have come up through the ranks.This Saturday we welcome Fermanagh champions Cill Náile C.L.G (Kinawley GAA) to Downpatrick. Match throws in at 1pm and tickets will be on sale online during the week.
Congratulations to the minor ladies progress to All County A championship final after a hard fought, entertaining match at PTR. Girls started off nervously but soon settled into their game. A strong wind hindered both sides but some fine scores from both teams ensured that the large crowd was kept entertained. Final opponents along with date/time and venue to be confirmed
Annual General Meeting
Zoom AGM will take place on Sunday 14 Nov at 7 pm. Any members wishing to partake please contact the club secretary via email,

The Secretary will then contact you individually with regards to the process. In order to process all relevant information and documents the cut off for expressions of intention to attend is Sunday 7th Nov at 6pm.
