RGU would like to extend our sympathy to the family of Tony Clarke who died recently. Tony was a former Chairman of Liatroim Fontenoys and gave many years of service to his club and community. Tony’s sons, Chris and Michael are owners of AJC Group one of our club sponsors. To his wife Veronica, sons Chris, Michael, Niall, daughter Victoria and the Gaels of Liatroim we extend our deepest sympathy on the passing of Tony.

Well done to our U-13 Girls today with a great win over Carryduff at Páirc Tomás Ruséil. Fantastic to see so many new and younger girls coming along, joining in and working hard.

Minor and Senior ladies played Ballymartin this week with solid performances in both matches to come away with the points on both occasions. The younger players are transitioning well to both minor and senior levels. Well done to both teams.
Break with matches for next two weeks but training continues as planned. Best wishes to Ballymartin player who sustained a nasty injury to her hand this evening. Hope to see her back playing in near future.
A fantastic second half fight back by the U-15s tonight saw them claw back an 18 point deficit to just 4 points with just five minutes to go before table topping Drumgath GAC pulled away again to claim the points. Six goals midway through the second half made the impossible look almost achievable after some great, fluent football, though credit to Drumgath who are an excellent team with some very powerful and gifted individuals.Result RGU 6:3 Drumgath 6:13.
This week’s lotto numbers drawn by Roisin Polly were: 4, 12, 19 and 28. There was no jackpot winner, with the jackpot £5,400 for next week. Four tickets matched three numbers to win £100, and the lucky winners were Angela Connelly, Roisin Polly, Patricia McAllister and Christine Campbell. Many thanks for all your support.
