Our Senior Ladies opened up their championship campaign with a good win over Bosco last Saturday evening. Result RGU 2-10 St John Bosco 2-8. Their next opposition in the championship is Carryduff.
Carryduff Senior men are the opposition for the RGU Senior men in the Championship, but please note that this game which was scheduled for Monday 24th August has been rescheduled, due to a bereavement in Carryduff, to Wednesday 26thAugust at 7pm in St Patrick’s Park, Newcastle.
The minors had a good win over Liatroim on Monday past but suffered a reversal away to Bryansford on Sunday. Result RGU 4-19 Liatroim 2-6.
The U-15’s suffered a narrow defeat at home to neighbours Bright on Thursday with their next match away to Shamrocks on Thursday night.
The girls U-14’s had a good home win on Sunday against Carryduff, however the development squad fell narrowly to Loughinisland. The U-13’s A team won well on Tuesday away to Carryduff but the U-13’s B team were beaten in their match by Carryduff B team.
The U-11.5 teams had good wins on Sunday at home to Castlewellan and away to Bredagh
A great mornings football was had on Saturday, when we entertained Saul and Loughinisland. We also fielded an all girls team on the morning.
This week’s lotto numbers were drawn by Niamh Polly. Numbers drawn were 8, 18, 21 and 27. Only 1 person had 3 numbers so scoops £100. Next week’s jackpot is now £4800.
