There was no Senior men’s football over last weekend, as this Friday sees Round 1 of the Morgan Fuels Senior Football Championship, when the Hoops take on Rostrevor in a rerun of last year’s first round. RGU Downpatrick will be looking to reverse that defeat.
Please note that this is a ticket only game so if you haven’t got a ticket you will be unable to pay cash at the gate. This is due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Our Ladies suffered a setback on Thursday night against a very strong Carryduff side, and
this week are away to Castlewellan on Saturday at 7pm.
The U-17’s came unstuck away to Ballyholland last Monday, on a scoreline of Ballyholland 6-14, RGU 3-9. The U-17’s have no game this week.
U-13A team overcame Kilcoo last Tuesday, on a scoreline of RGU 12-14, Kilcoo 4-4, while the B team didn’t have a game. This week the games are against Castlewellan and Dundrum respectively.
After a reversal away to Loughinisland on Thursday night the U15s are away to St Pauls this week. Result of that game was Loughinisland 6-14, RGU 4-6.
This week’s lotto numbers which were drawn by Marty Brady were 4, 6, 20 and 23. There was no Jackpot Winner, but four people share £100 for matching 3 numbers correctly. The Jackpot rises to £4600.
