There was no winner of this week's lotto javkpot of €5,500. The numbers drawn were 9, 17, 20, 24. Winners of the €25 prize were Nancy Culleton, Betty Ennis, Anna Moore, K. Phelan and David Ryan. Promoter's prize went to O. Brannock.
Under 10’s
On Saturday August 29 Under 10's went on a tour of Croke park. Almost all members of team attended along with team managers and mentors.
The tour involved a visit to the dressing rooms and warm up areas and a trip to see the pitch but unfortunately no one was allowed out on pitch.
This was followed by a trip up into the stands and our tour guide Elaine went through the history of Croke Park
The tour ended with a visit to the Museum and everyone had some refreshments prior to heading home.
Everyone was delighted with the trip and we highly recommend it for any team.
Under 13's lost to Celbridge on Sunday and are due to play Clane mid week and again on Sunday September 13.
Under 15 league starts 4th October with training starting on 16th September.
Under 16's lost quarter-final of championship to St. Kevin's by 3-12 to 1-13.
The Under Age Committee held their fund raising draw for the end of season presentations in the Bush on Friday September 4th. The draw was a sell-out and the crowd was excited as John Knight got the draw underway at 11pm. Congratulations to Paul O'Kelly on landing the wonderful first prize of a trip to Boston. Congratulations also to Pat Sutton - not only did he get sponsorship for the first prize, he also sold the winning ticket. Thanks to all who helped with the draw, to all prize sponsor, all the ticket sellers and especially Paul Dooley for selling the most tickets.
