Games Games Games With the holiday games period almost over and with Meath making their exit from the All Ireland series the focus for the County Fixtures Committee is to close out on all competitions as soon as possible. This Sunday 11th sees our Hurlers in Championship Action against neighbours Ratoath while Monday and Tuesday see our Division 4B and 3B teams line out in league action. Friday 16th our seniors are in championship action with the other three teams in championship action on Sunday. We also host two games in the club on the same day and will need help with stewarding. Lucozade Sport - Club Crusade The Club Crusade is back again - bigger and better . This year the club can collect training equipment such as bib's, cones, poles and balls,also clothing by collecting the required number of caps from Lucozade Sport & Lucozade Sport Lite. We have set up a collection point at Reception for your caps.The more caps you collect the better chance we have of collecting free gear.
Captain's Day Gala Dinner If you can't make the outing to Killenard come along and join us for a sumptuous 5 course Gala dinner with a glass of wine for €25. Our MC for the night will be P. J. Moran and we'll have live music in the bar to follow. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Golf Society Captains Prize Members are reminded that our 2013 Golf Society Captain's Prize takes place on Friday 23rd August. This year's captain Gerry Delaney has selected the fabulous Heritage Golf Course in Co. Laois. This excellent course hosted the Seve Trophy a number of years back and will both enjoyable and challeneging for our golfers. We have a tee time slot from 11.00 am to 12.50pm so members are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. Booking will initially be restricted to the first 52 members of the golf society but the timesheet will be open to all from Monday 12th if places remain available.Tickets are also available for the meal back in the club later that evening. Contact Jackie for further information and time slots. We are also exploring the option of hiring a bus but this would be dependent on numbers.

November Trade and Craft Fair. We are holding a trade and Craft Fair in the Club on Sunday 2oth November and are running a competition to name the event.
Craft Trade Fair Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA will be hosting a craft trade fair in October. Interested parties please contact Deirdre at ashbournecraftfair@gmail.com
Bingo Bingo takes place in our clubhouse every Thursday night at 8pm. Over €1000 in cash prizes to be won.
