On Sunday evening after the Meath vs. Dublin match, at the reunion of the 1992 All Ireland minor winning Meath team, Kilmainhamwood GFC was represented by the wonderful Paul Shankey. Paul doesn’t like talking about it but he was the rock around which the minor success was built. With his fetching good looks and his accurate passes into space he terrorised many a team. It was great to be in the company of such legends as Paul Shankey, Joe Tighe, Caman Hall, Aidan Kealy, Daithí Regan, Ollie Murphy, Kenny Cantwell, Denis Gallagher, Paddy Reynolds, Seamus Kenny & Colm Coyle and Shane Russell (lol).
