Kilmainhamwood first team took on Bective in the second round of the Junior A championship in Nobber at 7:30pm on Friday 29th April ... and came away with a share of the spoils on a scoreline of 0-12 to 1-09.
The 'Wood were three points to the good with full time fast approaching but 1-01 in added time put Bective one point up. Quick thinking by goalkeeper Damien Russell saw the ball out to twin brother David whose long ball into Colm Gilcreest was passed onto Harry Corbally who smashed the ball over via the crossbar to draw the sides level.
Damien Russell, Michael Shankey, Philip Moran, Harry Corbally, Alan Carolan, Stephen Kiernan & Ray Magee were best for the 'Wood.
