The Kilmainhamwood first team secured their first win of the year in what was their second outing of the year.
The 'Wood defeated Kilmainham, Kells on Saturday evening on a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-10 in the AFL Division 3 fixture.
The winners were in the driving-seat after Steven Kiernan's goal helped them into a commanding 1-8 to 0-4 half-time lead, with Ray McGee, David Russell and Alan Carolan all firing over points.
Best for the 'Wood were Francis Owens, Michael Shankey, Andy Farrelly, Steven Kiernan and Alan Carolan.
