On Monday 5th July K-wood U-8's played in Croke Park in the GAA Play & Stay day.
John McCreevy was in goals and as well as many good saves his excellent kick-outs started some great attacks.
Brian Cassidy was in the full back line and marked well and picked up loads of ball.
Calum Crosbie was a defender too and played very well.
Kaylem Galvin Russell defended well and attacked when needed.
Killian Plunkett was busy all day and played well.
Jamie Fagan was captain on the day and played so well that Meath are looking for him to play on Sunday ... Man of the Match
Jonathan Reilly played well and scored some lovely points.
Keith Reilly ran all day and played well
Sean Bennett was always looking to score and nearly scored the goal of the year.
Eoin Rooney was also very good on the day.
Killian Russell can on in the second half and tackled really well and got in some super blocks.
Dylan Owens, Cian Murphy, Oisin Reilly, Keefe Carolan and Jack Murphy made up the squad and all played well when introduced.
We had a tour of Croke Park stadium & museum and a good day was had by all.
No training this Tuesday night because the Intermediate team are playing Drumconrath at 7:30pm in the K-wood pitch.
Under 10 training on Saturday morning at 10am.
