This Saturday, the 26th August 2017 between 10am and 1pm, The Wood Warrior Run is where you want to be. Starting at The Crystal Maze and incorporating The Keenaghan Farm, this 6km course will test you physically and mentally as you take on an endless amount of obstacles that include Maze navigation, Spider-web, Tree trunk house, Hurdles, Cargo net, Log wall, Footbridge, Hidden Treasure, Stepping stones across river Dee, Balancing beam, Tidal Tunnels, Tyre towel, Water slide, Water gauntlet, Forgotten Forest, Water run, Bridge climb, Paddling pool, Rope Swing, Inflatable Castle Slide and much, much more until you reach the finish line back at The Crystal Maze.

Also on this Saturday between 2pm and 6pm is our club Sports Day with lots of fun for all the family. A 7-a-side tournament will be played with all the juvenile players picked across a number of teams. There will be novelty races, duck the coaches, tug-o-war and a cake-of-the-day contest. There is a burger and drink for all juveniles that part-take in the activities and entrance is free of change … tickets will be available for the draw.
The aforementioned draw will take place at 6pm at the Sports Day closing ceremony / presentation for the following prizes:
- 2 x All-Ireland Hurling final tickets
- Weekend at The Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel
- One-year subscription to the Kilmainhamwood GFC online lotto
