Welcome to our new on line player Eoin Christian. We also welcome the fifteen new players from the senior players who joined the lotto last week by taking out Standing orders. So don’t forget you can play our lotto and support the club in many different ways.
Valentine’s night was a huge success with lots of music and Craic, there was even strawberries and mallows with a chocolate fountain. Well done to Martin the Bar Manager and his wife Helen for organizing a great night.
Congratultions to Brendan McGlynn and Joe Fleming who were nominated by the Club for the Coiste na Sean Ghael Atha Cliath for their long service to the club and the association.
The senior footballers had a very good start to the new season. Although beaten by Round Towers it was only by two points. Towers are are one of the better teams in the first division so well done to the lads and their new manager.
Notes for the Diary:
Texas Holdem will be held in the club on the 1st Wednesday of every month commencing on Wednesday 4th March.Juvenile
Quiz night on Thursday the 26th of February and Adult Hurlers Quiz provisionally set for the 12th of March.
Welcome to the new Olaf’s golf society captain for 2009, Patrick Mulhall and his vice captain Paddy Maguire. Both were elected at the very well attended AGM last week. The society are holding a quiz night on Thursday the 19th of Feb. at 8.30pm. All are welcome.
