Mowing of Pitches
Can all team mentors ensure that our pitches are clear of juvenile goalposts, water bottles, and all items of clothing at the end of your training sessions/games. Goalposts should be placed in their allotted spots at each end of the field. See the attached image showing the location in yellow for posts. A temporary white line has been placed around those areas. Can the last team using a pitch each evening get their players to take a quick walk around the perimeter of the pitch to check for obstructions. Last night there were three large stones on Pitch 1, thrown in from the walkway it seems. One of them caused substantial damage to the mower when it hit the stone.
Teams are also requested to carry out training drills away from the entrance and goal areas. There is good grass cover at the sides and around the middle of the fields for those drills.
We would appreciate your co-operation and assistance on this matter.
