Results/Fixtures
Kicking us off this week are our Minor Boys. They recorded a massive victory over rivals St. Colmcille’s in the LMFM Div.1 Minor Football Championship, bringing back the Delaney Cup to Dunshaughlin after an 11-year absence. This journey started 12 years ago and lads put everything they have learned since then into this performance and in the end ran out winners on a score-line of 3-12 to 2-08.
Last Saturday our Newly Promoted Senior Ladies travelled to Louth to play the Geraldine’s in the Leinster Intermediate Quarter Final. The old cliché “Goals Win Games” certainly came to the fore here. They fired 3 past the Louth ladies and never looked back winning in the end by nine, 3-09 to 0-09. This victory puts them in the last four where they will now face Old Leighlin of Carlow in the Leinster Semi-Final next Saturday, October 3rd, at home @2pm. Best of Luck Girls, keep it going.
Our U12 Div.1 girls take on Dunboyne in the Final next weekend; Fixture TBC. Stay tuned to Social Media for more information. Best of luck girls.
Our U14 girls unfortunately came up against a strong Moynalvey side in the Final last Saturday. Hard luck girls, it was a great achievement in reaching the final, build on it & we’re sure you can go one step further next year. Chins up!
Our Mothers and Others team had their first game since March against Walterstown last Thursday night. It was fantastic to see a panel of 28 take the field. The team is growing in numbers and the skills are improving but most importantly the crack does be Mighty! If you think you might like to join in on the fun get in touch on of social media platforms.
Last but certainly not least, all roads lead to Pairc Tailteann next Saturday afternoon. Our Senior Men’s team play Nobber in the Relegation Play-Off Final @ 1pm. It is a MASSIVE game for the club. We wish the lads and management the very best of luck. Do the business lads.
We also had a busy weekend just gone at juvenile level, our U7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 teams were all in action. There were fantastic performances, scores and skills were on show, well done to all.
All match reports & photos for the above-mentioned games & more can be found on our Facebook page & Club Website.
