There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. Next weeks jackpot will be €8,400. The numbers drawn this week were 4,9,14,23. There was one match 3 winner Deirdre Mooney winning €200.
There were more good results at the weekend. The Junior Bs had a 2.11 to 1.10 victory over Clonard on Friday night, while on Sunday the Seniors followed suit with a 2.12 to 2.4 win over Rathkenny
As you know, Sunday next the 10th May 2009 has been set aside as Lá na gClub or Club Day as part of the GAA 125 years anniversary celebrations. Dunshaughlin GAA’s 125 Committee are hard at work organizing what will be fantastic club day filled full of fun events. Starting with mass in Dunshaughlin Church at 12 noon, it will be followed by a parade to the club grounds. There is a full day of activities taking place - Exhibition Games by the girls and boys of Dunshaughlin - 1967 v. 1977 game - Historical exhibition and club museum - A Rounders display and Kick Fada competition - The Fastest Mile Competition - Raising of the 125 flag - A visit from the US Ambassador to Ireland, who will assist with a commemorative Tree planting ceremony - Time Capsule - 125 Memory Wall - Reunion of past teams - Traditional Music and Dance from Scor - BBQ and refreshments - And much more…..
