Hard luck to Matthew Moyles & Luke Mitchell who were on the Meath Under 20 team that lost to Kildare after a close contest on Saturday in the Leinster League. A Matthew Moyles goal in the second half looked like it would be enough to give the Royals victory but Kildare edged in front in injury time.

Other clubmen in the headlines recently included David Dunne on the Garda College team narrowly beaten by DCU in the Sigerson Cup, and Shane Gallogly on the UCC panel that defeated NUIG by one point also in the same competition. Good luck to Mathew Costello who has been part of the Meath senior panel since before Christmas as the team opens its National Football league campaign with a game away to Tyrone on Sunday in Omagh at 2 p.m.

Thank you for your continued support. Go raibh maith agaibh uilig as ucht bhur tacaíocht.
