Congratulations and Pride of Place this week to our Under 16 Boys and Under 12 Girls.

Our Under 16 Boys who won the Division 1 title last week, beating their old rivals St Colmcilles by 2-19 to 2-7, a brilliant achievement after St Colmcilles came out on top in four finals since Under 12 level. Well done to all team members and coaches/selectors Kieran O Riordan, Paul Nestor and Ultan Blake.

Our Girls also overcame St Colmcilles in the final by 0-8 to 0-2 to win the Under 12 Division 1 Cup Final. Great performance by the following players Caitlin Summerville (Capt), Katelyn Robinson (0-4) Orlaith McEntee (0-2), Tara Glennon (0-1), Siún Hartigan (0-1), Grace Summerville, Emily MacCanna, Olivia Quinn, Aisling O'Connor, Áine McTigue, Ronnique Kato, Niamh Summerville, Georgia Muldoon, Joy Osas, Ellie Dervan & Katie Smith and their selectors.

Our Under 14 girls have reached the Divison 5 final with a 3-6 to 3-4 victory against Moylagh.

Our men’s senior teams have had mixed fortunes since our last newsletter with the A League team beating Wolfe Tones but losing to Ratoath and Gaeil Colmcille. The victory against the Tones guarantees us Division 1 football in 2020 for the 28thconsecutive year.

In the B League we had a big victory over St Michaels and are joint top of the table with Na Fianna.

Best of luck to Niamh Gallogly and the rest of the Meath Ladies team who play Laois in the Leinster championship quarter final this Sunday at 2 p.m. in Páirc Tailteann. Hoping they make it all the way to the final this year again.

Sending our best wishes to all our players who are starting their Leaving Certificate exams next week.

Thank you for your continued support.
