All Ireland Ladies Intermediate Final
We hope you have noticed the colour and Good Luck signs in the town for the Meath ladies who will play in the All Ireland final v Tyrone next Sunday in Croke Park, throw in at 1.45 p.m. Niamh O Sullivan will captain the team and she is joined by Niamh Gallogly on the field while off it our own Mary O Regan is secretary of the Ladies’ Board and Eamonn and Colette Dunne of Farmhouse Foods sponsor the team. There will be a welcome home event for the team in Gaelscoil na Ríthe on Sunday evening.
All Ireland Guess the Score Competition
Thanks to all who supported our recent All Ireland Guess the Score Competition. We had three winners, Holly Anderson, Garbhán Blake and Dave McEntee. They win €100 each.

Race Night
The Club has deferred the planned Race Night Fundraiser to 3rd November due to the All Ireland Ladies final on the same weekend as the date originally planned. Venue: The Arch Bar. Slots for Owners €10/ Trainers €10/ Jockeys €10 or all three for just €25 still available, so get in early for a great night in November. Meath County Board House Draw
The club is selling tickets for the Meath County Board house draw. Three houses, each valued at €275,000, will be raffled over the next 18 months while there will also be a number of cash prizes. GAA Social Group
The GAA Social Group, which has had outings so far this year to Kilmainham Gaol, National Stud, Stormont and the Giants’ Causeway has another outing planned for Wednesday 19th September to Derry with a tour of the city.
