Hard luck to Petra Reilly,Sonia Leonard, Maedhbh Byrne, Molly McNamara, Aoibheann Bracken and the Meath u16s who lost to Dublin in the Leinster A final in Clane on Saturday. Ye did both your county and club proud girls.
Hardluck to u12 Div6 team who lost out to Dunboyne. Junior C girls lost out to Dunboyne in 1st round of Championship by a last minute goal on Tuesday 2-9 to 3-5 but girls managed to bounce back with a tremendous performance against Boardsmill in the Championship Friday in Dunshaughlin to win on scoreline of 7-14 to 1-02.
Well done to u10s who played St.Comcilles in a challenge game on Saturday. Well done to Senior Ladies who bet Na Fianna in Round 2 of the championship on scoreline 2-12 to 0-08. Auf Wiedersehen, Pet Best of luck to Don McLoughlin and his caddy Jim Smith who will be representing Irish Rail & Ireland in the upcoming over 65 European masters golf Championship in Dortmund, West Germany. Both were spotted coming out of Bureau de change with their Deutsch Marks and Joxer has given them
his German phrase book and jump leads for the van Ollie o’Neill has kindly lent them. They have promised to send Gabriel Donnelly a postcard so he
can add to his ever-growing stamp collection.
