Black and Amber Launch

And it’s not Kilkenny this time!

We are on target to launch the Club History on Saturday 10th October. The final version is now with the printers and GAA President Aogán Ó Fearghail will launch it at the Black Bush Golf club.

Black and Amber: A History of the GAA in the Parish of Dunshaughlin 1886-1914 covers the story of Dunshaughlin GAA Club, but also gives the history of Drumree, Royal Gaels and St. Martins. The book is an update of the original Black and Amber published in 1984.

The Meath Weekender newspaper said of the original ‘So many facts, figures, anecdotes and photos are packed into the book that it must rank as one of the very best GAA books ever published.’ We guarantee that the new version is even better.

More information in the coming weeks.
