The St Maurs u13s got their league off to a great start with a 7-19 to 4-3 win away to round towers of clondalkin.The Maurs lads were well in control throughout with Ciaran barry , Paul jones, Alan McGrath, Neil rock and Donough McNamara all having great games

Gormanstown in door hurling tournament had is usual high turnout on Sunday and will take place again next Sunday.St Maurs are clocking up many victories and are in contention for league wins at some levels as u10, u11, u12 and u13 teams are all still in the hunt for honours after week 4

St. Maurs GAA Club are currently looking to recruit a coaching assistant throught the TUS scheme where one has to be out of work for over year. If any members or if you know of anyone who might be interested please drop the details into the office marked Coaching Assistant.The interviews for this job will be carried out by the TUS supervisors and NOT St. Maurs GAA.

GAA congress adopted a resolution which makes the wearing of gum shields/mouth guards mandatory for all playing Juvenile football from 1 Jan 2013.
Juvenile players will not be insured against mouth or dental injuries unless they are wearing mouth guards and this applies equally to training or match situations.

Bookings for the new Refurbished bar are starting to build up already for 2013 so get in early if you have a function or occasion in mind for next year as even April and May along with December are looking congested at this stage.

St. Maurs Club Bar will be open on Sundays from 1.30 pm for the foreseeable future.
