Well done to the Rush National Senior Squad who landed the major prize in Dublin Schools GAA An Corn Kitterick ,as div 1 Champions.
The final was played in Croke Park last tuesday and the Rush Lads defeated St Brigids Castleknock , the main feeder school for St Brigids GAA, by 2 points after being well down early on. Brilliant stuff Boys
The success is a credit to all the staff and students involved. Well done to Morgan, Ronan and Eugene for all their hard work over the years.
The Rush Junior footballers also landed the major prize winning div 1 for the 2nd successive year beating another of the big guns Marino in the playoff while the Senior Girls narrowly missed out losing at the semi final stage in the top division
Rush NS are now one of the biggest names in school GAA in Dublin and the club wishes them every success in the future.

Santa visits St Maurs on Saturday the 22nd of December when we host a Christmas Party for all juvenile players and their families in the upstairs Lounge from 4.00 pm on wards.
On 31st a New Years eve Party will be held in the upstairs lounge with music, food and plenty of craic. Tickets are 15 Euro each.
ST. Maurs Annual Christmas Draw tickets are currently on sale with 201 prizes on offer first prize being an Avensis car or 20,000 cash. The draw takes place on the 15th of December.
Thanks to Emma, Fiona and Derek who organized the annual mentors night on Saturday a great night was had by all and a great start to the Christmas.
Anyone who could help distribute the club newsletter in their area, then drop up to the office and collect a bundle and let Sue or Joe know which area you can do.
Bookings for the new Refurbished bar are starting to build up already for 2013 so get in early if you have a function or occasion in mind for next year as even April and May are looking congested at this stage.
St. Maurs Club Bar will be open on Sundays from 1.30 pm for the foreseeable future.
