St Maurs have won the Juvenile hurling Club of the year for 2012 awarded by Friends of Dublin Hurling, the support body for Dublin hurling. Its a tremendous achievement for all involved in hurling and camogie within the club, past and present. Its a culmination of many hard years work as well as recent on pitch success and investment in facilities...so take a bow everyone.
ST. Maurs Annual Christmas Draw tickets are currently on sale with 201 prizes on offer first prize being an Avensis car or 20,000 cash.The draw takes place on the 15th of December.
St. Maurs Senior Football team lost out by two points away to St Judes on Sunday morning in what is their last game of the 2012 league. The game confirms Maurs position in Division one football for next year so well done to Alan and the lads who can look forward to another year of competing at the top level of Football in Dublin.
St. Maurs / O'Dwyers U14s camogie had a great Championship win in Trinity Gaels on Saturday 03//11. They won in style 5 goals 2 points to Whitehall Colmcilles 2 points. The girls were very quiet and nervous warming up but they went out on the pitch and did what we all believed they could do all along = they WON the Championship.
Congratulations to ST MAURS U16 hurling team DIVISION 2 CHAMPIONS at home on Saturday. They beat Castleknock in the final. Great all round team performance . Well done to them and all the mentors involved
