The all Ireland hurling Feile was on thurs, Friday and Saturday.St Maurs were hosting games in division 5 as well as hosting players and mentors from the Donegal team, Ballyshannon in Rush.The whole event was a great success which showed the Club off in a great light. Thanks go to the team of helpers from the juvenile section headed up by Peter Monks and Ann Harford with Mick Harford have the place looking perfect dispite the awful weather.
Thanks also to the Management committee headed up by Gerry Foley and Owen Ginty along with the parents, our FAS employees and our GPO Clare Dowdal it would not have been possible for the event to go head so a huge thanks to all involved.
St. Maurs hosted the players and Mentors from Ballyshannon and the Club was delighted to meet and entertain our new friends from Donegal who were a pleasure to have in the Club. They will need to practice a bit more on the singing as Maurs won out there hands down thanks to Jacinta Halpin.
Well Done to our U12 girls football team who won the Ger Canavan Tournament today in O Tooles , Excellent team preformance
St. Maurs Football third team narrowly lost out by 2 points to Innisfails away on Monday night
Our Minor Footballers had a good win 2-10 to 09 over Whitehall Colmcilles on Wednesday night.
Maurs Minor Hurlers drew 1-13 to 16 against Lucan Saresfields on Thursday night.
