Our three Dublin U21 ALL IRELAND MEDAL WINNERS put in fantastic performances along with the rest of the team against Roscommon after all three were selected to start on the team. Well done to Danny Byrne, Luke Fletcher and Ciaran Reddin who have brought huge pride and encouragement to the club by increasing the clubs rapidly growing haul of Inter County titles at various levels and codes already earned.
The family of the late Mr. Jimmy Rock have expressed their gratitude to all the members and friends of St. Maurs for their support and messages of sympathy on the death of Jimmy.
U8s Hurling V Fingallians, the Maroons went down in both of their games but both games were very keenly contested. The boys were on the end of a 4-3 reverse with all player playing their part.
The Golds went down 3-0 in the first game before storming back to win the second game by 6-0
The Whites won the first game by 5-3. The boys went down 3-2 in the second.
Saturday saw the U9 hurlers travel to Whitehall Colmcilles. St. Maurs beat Whitehall 13 - 3.
Our U11 Hurlers were at home to Peregrines where they had a good win of 4-6 to 1 goal.
Maurs U14’s lost out by a point to O Dwyers in the Div 8 final in the Feile Peil na nog.
Our Senior Football team lost out to St. Oliver Plunketts in the league during the week.
Our Senior Ladies Footballers had a good win over Portobello 7-10 to 1-5 in the Adult Div 3 Cup.
St. Maurs Senior camogie team lost out to Trinity Gaels during the week.
