IN OTHER NEWS

The 83rd AGM of St Maurs GAA club will be held in the club on Thursday the 12th of April at 8.00pm all members are encouraged to attend. Written motions have to be in with the club Secretary by Thursday the 29th of March.

St. Maurs Annual Easter camp will be held on the 2-5th of April @ 10.00am to 2.00pm each day. All primary school going children are welcome where Hurling, Football, Camogie along with Fun and Games will be played. The cost is 30 E for the first child 50 E for 2 and 60 E for 3.Registration will be taken on the first day at 9.30 am.
Well done to the 6 Maurs U14 Hurlers who represented the Club in the Feile Exhibition match held during half at the Dublin in Croke Park on Saturday.

Our 3 U21 Dublin players did the club proud in their win on Wednesday night.

Maurs Senior Hurlers lost out by a point to Clontarf while Junior Football team lost out to Skerries also by a point.

Our U 16 Ladies Footballers lost out to Clann Fontrnry while our 14U Ladies Footballers won away to Naomh Mearnog 6-12 to 4-2 also our U 12 L/Fballers had a good win over Cuala.

The U 14 camogie team had a good win over Lucan Sarsfield.

Maurs U16 Hurlers won well against St. Judes 4-19 to 1-12 while our U14 Hurlers also won well against Liffey Gaels 4-4 to 2-6

Our U 12s drew against St. Margrets. Maurs. The U11 Footballers won against Na Dubh Gael while the U 10’s were @ home to Oliver Plunketts where the Maroon Team won with Man of Match going to Edan Hurley while the Gold team narrowly lost with Man of the Match award going to Connor Barry.

Our U9 Footballers were @ home to St. Finbarrs where the two Maurs teams combined clocked up a huge score which saw them win with a combined score of 71-11.Maurs Gold who won 37-2 had great scores starting with Senan Monks, followed by Colin Dennehy and Dane Whyte who scored 2 goals. Maurs Maroon team scored 3-10 with scores from Calum Herbert, Evan Carty, Dylan Gavin & Paul Fynes.Great defensive work was done by Tomas Hegarty with Dylan Gavin between the sticks.
