May Day and the Great Balloon Race
TODAY the 1st of May, the juvenile section are having a Family Fun Day at the club with lots of activities for all.
The main event will be a Fundraiser for the Juvenile Section when over 1000 sponsored balloons will be released in a "Balloon Race". Each balloon is tagged and finders are requested to post the tags back to the club and they too can win a prize. After a 3 week period the winning entry is the owner of the confirmed balloon which travels the furthest.
There will be prize for the winning seller also and for the juvenile team which sells the most balloons.
