The under 15 girls took on St Oliver Plunketts in the Division 3 Championship final today at a sunny Balheary park in Swords. Both benches were emptied and everyone made a difference, unfortunately we met an on form Plunketts side today who took the title. Hard luck to the boys from Gaelscoil Ros Eo today in the Cumann na mBunscoil finals. The result didn't go our way on the day but well done to all involved for making it to the final. It's not every day you get to play in Croke Park- a day that memories are made of. Donors board up. Thanks to the Farren family for their generous sponsorship. Thanks to all who came on board to date. Your donations have made our pitch possible. There’s still a few names to add so bear with us and we will get that sorted If you want to get your name added then please get in touch. It’s never too late to help us finish our project and reduce the clubs substantial debt. Finally can we ask parents to supervise children in foyer please so as to keep it intact and undamaged. As part of the DCU/Camogie Association Injury Prevention Programme, our under 14s were invited to participate in a recorded session in Sport Ireland, Abbotstown. It was a great experience for them and very enjoyable. We look forward to seeing the footage in the coming weeks. Thanks to everyone for coming out on such a bad night to support our Table Quiz. Hosted by the fabulous Sean Murphy whose wit and humor entertained us for the night. Thanks to our helpers Ann, Leona, Niamh, Marian and Stacey behind the bar. Congratulations to everyone who took part and our overall winners who kindly donated their winnings to “create the future”. St.Maurs All Stars enjoyed a fantastic fun session last Sunday. A huge thank you to the participants, their families & most importantly the young coaches who gave up their time (again) to support this new initiative, we salute you all.
