The 91st annual general meeting of St Maurs GAA will be held in the club on Friday 24 th May at 8,30 pm. All club members are requested to attend. Any motions for consideration should be forwarded to the secretary by May 10th. Congratulations to Ella O'Connell and Lucy Caulfield who have made the Dublin Camogie Under 13 Development Squad for 2019. Well done to all the Maurs girls who participated in the School of Excellence sessions. We're very proud of you all. Well done to Rush man Aaron Lacey with the Dublin minor hurlers Hannah Matthews, World Cup silver medalist with the Irish hockey team, took time out of her busy schedule to meet with St. Maur's juvenile girls last night. She spoke about balancing playing with studying, how she overcame disappointment when not picked at trials when younger, importance of water, diet and sleep. Obviously, she spent time talking about the World Cup including how to overcome nerves and then about the upcoming Olympic qualifying tournament. Hannah was super with the kids and stayed around to talk with them and take pictures.Big thanks to Kevin Curley for organising the event. A huge thank you to all who supported St. Maur's fundraising event 'Be a Dancer for Cancer' today. A special mention to zumba instructor Karolina who runs classes in NC Fitness, DJ Aidan Harford, and St Maurs G4MO for organising the event.
