Last nights draw took place in Colwell's. No winner. Margaret Brennan matched 3 numbers, winning €100.
We had a very successful Golf Classic last Friday, 31st May. We had a gathering weekend which included a talk on the history of the club from Brendan Cummins and Harry McGarry gave a very interesting talk on the history of the Gaeltacht colony in Gibstown. On Saturday, we had a sports day in Gibstwon pitch followed by 'Stars in their Eyes' presentation and launch in Colwell's. Sunday saw a 55/110 km cycle challenge with 86 participants. A social evening followed in the Silver Tankard. Monday consisted of a football and hurling blitz in Kilberry picth. On Friday, the senior footballers were beaten by Simonstown with a score of 1-17 to Simonstown to 2-05 to the Tones. On Saturday night, the junior footballers had a good win against Nobber with a score of 17 points to 12.
