There is only one week to go until The Gathering weekend full of activities kicks off.
Friday31st May –
· Annual Golf Classic in Navan Golf Club. For tee times ontact Patricia @ 087-6480813.
· Scanlon’s of Kilberry
8:30pm - Presentation of Prizes
9pm - History of Bhulf Tón C.L.G. – Presented by Brenden Cummins
10pm - Scéal na n-Imircí – Fear an Tí Anraí Mac Garaidh
Saturday 1st June
· Sports Day starting at 1pm in Gibbstown Football Pitch admission €5 per family.
· 4pm approx – A fun game will take place including current men and ladies footballers and hurlers, former players (over 40’s) managed by Tommy Dowd, Colm Coyle, Cian Ward and Eoghan Harrington.
· 9pm Colwell’s Bar – Stars in their Eyes – Presentation and Launch of the weekend.
Sunday 2nd June
· 10am - Irish Mass in St Catherine’s Church, Oristown.
· Cycle Challenge : 55/110 km. Registration: 8:45am / depart 9:15am. Start/ return Gibbstown Hall
· Family Cycle: 8kms. 3pm start/return Gibbstown Hall
· 8:30pm - Social Night with music from local musicians in The Silver Tankard.
Monday 3rd June
· 11am: Football and Hurling Blitz in Páirc Mhic Eoin, Kilberry.
· 3pm - Siúlóid Staire – le Uinsionn ó Gairbhí, ó Eaglais Dhomhnach Phádraig
All these activities are being held in conjunction with The Gathering so don’t forget to invite family and friends from near and far!
