T Kearney has departed from the Wolfe Tones after a very fruitful 9 years when 16 trophies were awarded to teams managed by tony. His departure will leave leave a huge void which will be hard to fill. He announced his leaving o the players after the defeat by the narrowest of margins against Blackall Gaels last Sunday in Ashbourne, but had indicated to the mentors before the start that this was his last game as manager of the tones. The club wishes Tony success in the futureand hopes he will remain a loyal supporter of the tones.
