We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €15,700 last Monday night in Jack Kelly's Bar, Greenfields. We had one match 3 winner - Terry Lyons (Ellagh). Numbers drawn were 24-28-29-32. Promoter's prize went to Tom Murphy. Next week's draw will be for €16,000 will be in Keady's Bar on Monday night. To play the Lotto online please log on to locallotto.ie and sign up. Our u-21 County Final vs Leitir Mór was scheduled to go ahead last Sunday in Spiddal but was postponed due to an unplayable pitch. That final could be played this weekend, keep an eye on our facebook page for details. Well done to Kevin Carey, Michael Day, Richard Fahy & all the Galway Junior Footballers, who have qualified for the Connacht JFC final, after defeating Leitrim in the semi-final this evening. Kevin started and played the full game while Mikey came on and scored a point. Galway will now face Mayo in the Connacht JFC final this Sunday in Carrick-on-Shannon. The game will be the curtain raiser for the Connacht Senior Semi-Final, Galway vs Leitrim. The Minor Shield Final will take place tonight Wednesday (13th May) in Tuam Stadium as we take on St. Brendans' of Ballygar at 7.15pm. Best of luck to the team and management. The u-14s had a fine win over Salthill/Knocknacarra last Friday on a scoreline of 4-6 to 1-2 in the league. Daragh Geraghty, Liam Halloran in defense played very well, while Gavin Lee at midfield and James O'Connell and Daragh Conneely impressed up front. With two wins from two they now head to Renmore this evening to play St. James' at 7pm looking to keep up their good form.
