We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €14,650 last Sunday night in Murphy's. We had one match 3 winners - Michael O'Malley (Raheny, Dublin). Promoter's prize went to TJ Keady. Numbers drawn were 24-26-30-31. Next week's draw will be for €14,800 will be in Jack Kelly's Pub , Greenfields on Sunday night. To play the Lotto online please log on to locallotto.ie and sign up. Membership is now due for 2015. Membership for adult players is €80, while underage/social members is €30. The strict deadline for membership for senior players is March 31st. The minors started their league campaign with a fine 1-9 to 0-9 victory over Caltra on Sunday. They were a point down at half time then pushed on at the start of the second half. Caltra clawed the gap back towards the end of the game. But the lads dug deep and defended very well in the last 10 minutes, with keeper Darragh Doherty with few key saves also. Stand out players for Headford were James O Brien in midfield with great fielding throughout and Cathal Newell for his scoring prowess, ably assisted by Sean Moran, Conor O'Malley, and Darren Higgins. The Intermediates lost in a challenge vs Annaghdown's senior team on Sunday, on a scoreline of 1-7 to 1-5. Congratulations to Tom & Fiona Corbett on the birth of their new baby daughter, as well as Adrian & Elaine Watters on the birth of their new baby son. Congratulations to our five €50 winners in the County Club Draw. They were - Frank Thornton, Johnny Leahy, Aaron McMahon, John Heneghan & Josephine O'Malley.
