We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €12,400 last Sunday night in the Tavern. We had four match 3 winners - Carmel O'Malley (Cloonkeely), Ger Garvey (Kilroe), V Connell (Cong Rd), Paul Hughes (Kilbeg). Numbers drawn were 13-17-24-32. Promoter's prize went to Joe O'Donnell. Next week's draw will be for €12,550 and will be in Murphy's Kilbeg on Sunday night.
We held our annual AGM last Friday night. The following appointments were made: Chairman - Joe O'Donnell, Vice Chairman - Ger Holleran, Secretary - Ronan Biggins, Assistant Secretary - Paul Monaghan, Treasurer - Eric Flynn, Assistant Treasurer - Conor Carey, Registrar - Kevin Lee, Football Board Delegates - Tom Corbett & Paddy Cunningham, Coiste Peile na nOg Delegates - Paul Monaghan & Justin Ryan, PRO - Justin Ryan, Coaching Officer - Ger Holleran & 2 More TBC, ASAP Officer - TBC, Web Officer - Justin Ryan, Child Welfare Officer - Catherine Murphy. Team Managers for the year ahead were appointed as follows: U6 - Ger Holleran, U8 - Peter Gavin, Enda Mannion & Michael Gillvarry, U10 - Tony O'Reilly, Jimmy Cahill, Peter Gallagher & Brendan Hynes, U12 - Donal Gallagher, Tom Flynn & Mac Dara Bermingham, U13 - TBC, U14 - Tom Moggon, Walter Steed & Tomas Geraghty, U15 - Paul Monaghan & Ger Holleran, U16 - Paul Monaghan, Ger Holleran, Shane Walsh & Justin Ryan, U18 - Rory Corbett & Mac Dara Bermingham, U21 - Neill Walsh, Bryan Carey, Ronan Higgins & Shane Walsh, Junior B - TBC, Intermediate - TBC. The Galway Masters were announced as the Galway Bay FM Team of the Year, thanks to all who helped by texting to vote for them. The tickets for the National Draw are now on sale and are available from club members. All proceeds go straight to the club so please support.
